“We took Albus to Oak Paddock for the first time today. He had the best time! A lovely big, secure space with lots of interesting things to investigate!
The owners are very clear on what’s expected of visitors to make Oak Paddock a safe and fun time for dogs and their owners. For me, having peace of mind that Albus could safely sniff, run, and play was a real positive.
This was a great place to be and we will definitely be back, would highly recommend if your dog may be nervous or reactive when there are other pups around. Here they can relax and just do their own thing.”

“Just used Oak Paddock for the first time. All I can say is wow.
We have a 6 month old Golden Retriever Finley who quite often gets attacked by other dogs and his recall can be hit or miss at the moment. So we wanted somewhere safe where he and us could relax and have fun!
The facilities here are incredible, Lots of agility courses. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the hut, first aid kit for us and our fluffy babies. Water and poo bags also and treats available to buy and a hosepipe with a towel if they get too muddy. Everything has been thoroughly thought out. Thank you so much we will definitely be back. Would highly recommend.”
“I have been using Oak Paddock for a couple of years now. Firstly with my own rescued dog Moss and more lately with dogs I have in my care as a pofessional dog walker. It’s great fun for the dogs to enjoy with a safe secure environment promoting the well being of every dog. The ethos of every dog being able to run freely is especially important to a particular client group I look after and it is amazing to see. Thank you Claire for a safe space for every dog to run freely.”
“First visit today after having many a nervous time walking my dog (he was attacked quite badly a year ago and is now reactive to other dogs).
I don’t know who enjoyed it more! Me, because I could relax and really enjoy my time with the dog and have fun with him with out worrying – or Storm who absolutely loved it and is now worn out and happy. Shall definitely book.

First of all wow, what a facility you have! I just wanted to thank you for the use of your paddock. What an experience to let my dog run without the added stress of “will he come back” or “will more likely get himself into doggy trouble because he’s only one and not mastered the art of dog etiquette yet!”
I will definitely have peace of mind whilst I’m away for my sons and my neighbour to bring him up here knowing he’ll be safe, secure and happy as there’s just so much to keep him entertained!

“We recently visited Oak Paddock for Rory’s birthday, and he had the best time! Among our planned activities, the paddock stood out as a fantastic choice. The value for money was excellent, with plenty of toys, agility equipment, and fun obstacles to keep Rory entertained.
The free drinks in the summer house were a delightful bonus, especially on a warm day. Claire provided exceptional service, calling us before our session to ensure we were all set and checking in afterward to see how everything went.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Oak Paddock. We’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Omg… this is an amazing place… our gorgeous boy is getting on a bit and has had a rubbish start to life as a bait dog. He hates other dogs and kids so we’re limited with walks so for him this is a little piece of paradise!!… it was amazing to see him happy and enjoying it… the gorgeous cabin is a lovely touch!! “Claire and John have created a fabulous safe place for both dogs and their humans! So much attention to detail, plenty of space, loads of wonderful touches in the summerhouse such as coffee, tea and plenty of seating. There’s dog toys, towels and water (for those muddy paws), drinking bowls, agility equipment and the whole place is so peaceful.
I HIGHLY recommend booking time here for you and your dogs. There’s even books to read while your furry friend runs off some energy. I love the fact that your time there is just for you, your own private space and Claire so kindly phoned to check that we had a great time and to answer any questions.

We found out our pup Oscar is reactive & nervous! Claire was very helpful and even had info in the cabin! Monty loves the toys provided and would have stayed all day! However the hour was long enough! We will definitely be back. xx”

“How do I begin to tell you how much this beautiful safe space means to me?
My husband and myself are disabled and can no longer walk more than a couple of metres at a time, we also both suffer from chronic pain… we have felt so guilty at not finding the perfect spot that covers or dogs needs and ours. The kindness shown by the owners of the field was incredible, the field itself has everything a dog could ever dream of… everything is included.
And as for the complimentary coffee and tea, I don’t know anywhere else that provides that. There’s even a table and chairs in the summer house with a huge window that you can still see your dog through on rainy days. Umbrellas… a hat… books to relax with… picnic tables, nerf guns, I could go on and on… The booking fee for an hour is only £10 including up to 2 dogs and only £2.50 for an extra dog (4 dogs max), yes, it’s only £10 but to me it was absolutely priceless… thank you for allowing us to share your land for a precious hour… Love from Catherine, Barney and Tia. x”
“I would just like to tell everyone just how wonderful Oak Paddock has been for us, I seriously don’t know what I would have done without this facility! I rescued a XL bully that has been so badly mistreated it was disgusting! She is so scared of the world and now is a reactive dog! She has the best heart (of which I find amazing) but if I hadn’t stumbled upon Oak Paddock and the owner who has given me such huge support and encouragement, I don’t know how we would have coped so well.
Nala has an amazing time being free in this secure space. Not only being secure, it’s a space where owners can truly relax and play with their k9 friends. I’m truly so so grateful and thankful to you Claire. What a brilliant service you offer- especially for those with an issue that wasn’t their fault….. I speak for myself and Nala, we love you and we thank you. x”
“What a fab place for dogs and owners!! Boris my Patterdale loved it! So many activities! Despite getting lost it was so worth it when we got there (we had to follow Claire in the end – lovely lady). I could have moved into the summer house – so cosy!!

He loves the Astro turf platform especially & a play doing zoomies around & through the Pig shelter. Great place to let your dog run off steam without distractions. And good that you can relax too with a nice cup of coffee in the Summer House. Highly recommend.”

“Such a fabulous space, to start all 3 of my pups just did a sniffafari, that alone had them enriched and panting. We introduced some of the agility, slow and steady to start. But I think they will be fully on board for next week. The pig pen had to be favourite. This place is doggy and owner heaven. Xx”

“We had our first booking at Oak Paddock last Sunday. This place is brilliant! Plenty for dogs to do but more importantly for us a safe space for our fear reactive shar pei to have some off-lead and unmuzzled time.
The paddock is 100% secure and the facilities are lovely. This gave us some much needed time out and allowed our Hewy to run free, explore and have fun. We will be booking regularly! Thank you Claire.”

“We absolutely loved our hour at Oak Paddock Amazing place for all dogs! We have one fear reactive dog and one over friendly dog who struggles with recall. This makes walks stressful with having to constantly look out for other dogs.
It was amazing to just be able to let them run and enjoy themselves without the worries of a usual walks!
